About Us
Wellwood International is an elementary school located in the northwestern part of Baltimore County. Our school offers a rich and diverse educational experience for children in grades K-5. We are focused on student achievement.
Wellwood hosts children from over thirty different countries! Our international population helps to provide our students with a multicultural environment that reflects today's world. We offer ESOL instruction for approximately eighty students across all grades. Click here to see a list of countries represented at Wellwood!
Students in our French Immersion Magnet Program spend a portion of their school day immersed in French language. There is one French class in each grade level. Wellwood International will transition to an International Studies Magnet during the 2017-2018 school year. Click here for more information about the program. All students receive 50 minutes of French instruction every week.
